To My Beloved
After the death of his wife, Fernando becomes a calm and thoughtful man who raises his son Daniel himself. Every night when the boy is sleeping, Fernando "animates" his wife by touching her clothes and organizing his personal belongings. Paulo does not get along with her mother-in-law, who considers him unprepared to raise a boy without help. The lonely Paulo has to resist the progress of her sister-in-law, a recently divorced cougar who is looking for lost femininity.

The film To My Beloved impressed me with the intellectual and visual subtlety of posing problems, as well as unusual criticality and directness in diagnosing the state of world society. I liked some of the scenes in the film, some not very much, but thanks to the Aly Muritiba filming I ended up very happy with what I saw.
